Friends of the Library
The Friends of the San Anselmo Library was first organized in the early 1970’s for the purpose of extending and improving library services and resources. It is a non-profit, tax deductible organization with individual, family and supporting memberships available.
From 10:00 to 4:00 on the first Saturday of each month (unless it falls on a holiday), the Friends hold a Monthly book sale in the lower level of the library. Come shop for bargains on kids books, cook books, novels and more.
Over the years, with income from books sales, dues and contributions, the Friends have provided a variety of services, equipment, programs and materials such as Children’s Programs, reference books, a copy machine, art work, furniture, and computers for public use.
The Friends have established a program for memorial and gift books. Membership in the Friends gives year round support to the San Anselmo Library.
The Friends meet every third Thursday at 3:00 in the Hitstory Museum,
except July and August.
